Behind The Scenes: Showroom

One of the parts of my job that is very satisfying is taking an idea in a client’s head, getting it on paper in elevation and 3D drawings and then watching that cabinet come to life in our shop. We have some very talented craftsmen working with us who turn visions into reality. So, close your eyes and come along with me on a tour of the showroom today.

As you first step inside our front door, the bell jingles and you are greeted by someone. It’s a large space-there are 2 desks, myself and my design assistant work out here. We have a long wall of cabinets with a big 10’ x 5’ island in front of it that is a full working kitchen with refrigerator, oven, steam oven, cooktop, icemaker, beverage refrigerator and microwave drawer  fully functional in it. The back wall of cabinets is painted a lovely off white color-Benjamin Moore White Dove and the island is walnut wood with a brown stain on it. The countertops along the back wall are a Steel Grey leathered granite and we have a pillowed Peublo Limestone backsplash in a herringbone pattern. The hardware on the cabinets is a warm, brushed brass. The new sink faucet is the stunning Brizo Litze faucet in Luxe Gold. The island top is a stunning piece of Alaskan White granite with lots of beautiful movement in it.

Around the corner there is a cozy library type space with floor to ceiling stained cherry paneling, a fireplace with a stone hearth, double mantel, tv playing photos of our recent work and bookshelves either side of the fireplace that house decorative foot options, corbels and brackets for countertop overhang, wood top samples and metal finishes for custom hoods. There are 2 upholstered chairs in front of the fireplace just waiting for someone to sit a while.

Continuing around the room there is an entire laundry room display. The cabinets are white shaker style, the countertops are a light grey quartz and the backsplash is a white beveled subway tile with a glass accent over the sink. There are stained wood floating shelves, open shelves for laundry baskets and an apron front sink.

Next up is a closet display in natural maple. There are many organizational gadgets here for closet storage and we have many leg and column styles displayed here.

Up next is a bathroom vanity in a dark, stained espresso color. There are 2 sinks with a linen tower between them. It has a light travertine countertop, framed mirrors above to match the cabinets with decorative lights and faucets. There are several pull outs specific for bathroom storage displayed here.

The last section of the showroom is a collection of sample doors in many different styles, finishes and materials. We also have hardware samples here and this is where the heavy lifting of design decisions are made.

Thank you for joining us on our showroom tour today! Come see us in person one day. Questions? Email me at Jessica@webbercoleman.com
